A riveting story about inspiration and creativity and not giving up
This is a magical book in every respect. Chris d'Lacey combines the realistic and the magical to such an effect that all disbelief is suspended. Readers will be entranced.
I would recommend this book to those who like dragons and fantasy, but also aren't afraid of a twist!

This series just gets better and better.
A brilliant story, quirky and well-written. An intelligent, sensitive, and magical book.
A delightful story which skilfully blends realism and magic into a very satisfying conclusion.
