Allison Steinfeld

Allison grew up in Connecticut where she spent hours getting lost in the words and pictures of her library books. She wore her pencils down and left no scrap of paper un-scribbled as she copied the illustrations from those books, trying to capture some of their magic. Her love of storytelling led her to earn a BFA in Cartooning from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After graduating Allison rekindled her love for children’s books and enjoys being able to open up the world and empower young readers to grow through stories. Allison currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
